What to Look Forward to Living in Star Ranch

Texas is renowned for being a state with one of the best economies in the US. In fact, it’s second only to California— the mecca of the country’s entertainment industry.

Star Ranch, in particular, is one of the most noteworthy communities in central Texas. But, not everyone is aware of the many benefits you can experience by living there.

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Let’s take a look at everything you need to know about living in Star Ranch.

18-Hole Championship Golf Course
One of the greatest attractions that living in Star Ranch provides is its proximity to a renowned, 18-hole gold course— Golf Club at Star Ranch.

Avid golfers will find themselves right at home on this course, which is filled with pristine greens and fairways. Those who are less experienced will also find the course enjoyable, as the serene location provides a perfect learning environment.

The clubhouse, though, is a separate attraction in itself. The 15,000-square-foot facility offers visitors the chance to eat, drink, or simply relax before or after a game. It also comes equipped with locker rooms, a pavilion, and a reservable room for private parties and events.

Private Pool + Playscape
Star Ranch’s community includes a private pool and play area for children, making it a prime location for families to reside. On warmer days, relaxing by the pool is one of the most enjoyable ways to pass the time due to the beautiful scenery that surrounds the community.

Those who have children will find that the playscape offers hours of entertainment and is a great way for the family to spend time together. You can also let your kids explore the play area while you catch up on emails, reading, etc.

Additionally, this community area is a great way to meet other residents if you’re new to the neighborhood.

Easy Commute
The location of Star Ranch, though, is one that’s ideal for those who need to commute to a location within the central Texas area. It sits just a mile north of State Highway 45 on State Highway 130, allowing you to get going toward where you need with little trouble.

The community is a solid area to reside in for those who work or go to school in the region but wish to live somewhere without the commotion of a large city. In essence, Star Ranch has a quiet, small-town feel without being hundreds of miles from the places you need to be.

Quality School District
The Hutto Independent School District is renowned for its remarkable graduation rate. In fact, it sits at nearly 98%, which is one of the highest in the entire state. Many children in this district are enrolled in bilingual studies, as well.

So, this is something to keep in mind for those who have children, even if they aren’t quite at high school age yet. For those who don’t yet have children but plan to stay in the central Texas area, this is also a factor to consider.

Growing Local Economy
As previously mentioned, Texas boasts one of the largest economies in the entire country, and the Central Texas region has one of the greatest local economies in the state.

Local small businesses and larger ones alike help keep the financial health of the region high. But, the local economy is projected still to grow significantly with the introduction of two major attractions: the Kalahari Resort & indoor waterpark and the Perfect Game baseball facility.

This, of course, will lead to better development of the area as a whole over time.

Let’s take a brief look at what both will offer to the community.

Kalahari Resort
There are other Kalahari Resort locations, but the construction of one near Star Ranch will be a welcome addition that people of all ages can enjoy. In addition to being one of the largest waterparks in the state at 200 acres, the Central Texas Kalahari Resort will be the largest indoor waterpark in the area.

This means that it can be enjoyed year-round and that it won’t be nearly as difficult to cool off during summer days.

The facility is projected to open in 2020, but you can enjoy the Typhoon Texas waterpark right down the highway while you wait. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Star Ranch, so you’ll have no trouble getting there in the meantime.

Perfect Game
The country’s renowned baseball scouting organization has chosen Hutto, Texas as the location for its new headquarters. It will be the city’s first indoor sports and events center and is the largest development deal in Hutto’s entire history.

The $800-million facility is projected to open during 2021 and will serve as a major attraction for all of Central Texas. Children who one day plan to pursue a career in college baseball will find that being in such close proximity to the facility will be highly beneficial in their development as an athlete.
